AN/CZY-24 TIBS Protocol Processing Unit (PPU), provides a complete capability for reception of TIBS network data using a variety of receiver equipment. The PPU operates from an IF input signal that has been downconverted and level controlled by the front end receiver. The PPU performs demodulation on the input signals, with bit synchronization and forward error correction decoding accomplished using digital signal processing technology. The unit incorporates an embedded Cryptographic device for system timing and synchronization and is TEMPEST qualified. |
